General terms and conditions of sale
Article 1: This contract is intended solely for booking overnight stays in rooms at a guesthouse.
Article 2 - Length of stay: The client signing this contract, concluded for a fixed term, may under no circumstances claim any right to remain on the premises beyond that term.
Article 3 - Formation of the contract: The reservation becomes effective once the client has sent the owner a deposit of 50% of the total price of the stay, with a minimum of one night’s charge per room reserved.
Article 4 - Hours
a) Check-in: from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
b) Departure: before 11:00 a.m.
For new arrivals, access to the entire property is permitted only from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Outside these reception hours, the team is occupied with cleaning the rooms and the entire establishment. After 7:00 p.m., the team is occupied with kitchen and dining service.
Article 5 - Cancellation by the client: Any cancellation must be notified to the owner.
a) Cancellation before the start of the stay:
If the cancellation occurs more than 21 days before the start of the stay, the deposit is refunded to the client.
If the cancellation occurs between 21 days and 48 hours* before the start of the stay, the deposit remains with the owner.
If the cancellation occurs less than 48 hours* before the start of the stay, the deposit remains with the owner, who will also require payment of the balance of the total price of the stay.
* except for bookings made before 23/09/2025, for which this period was 24 hours.
b) If the client does not arrive on site before 7:00 p.m. on the scheduled day of arrival, this contract becomes null and void and the owner may relet the guest rooms. The deposit remains with the owner, who reserves the right to claim the balance of the price of the stay.
c) In the event of an early departure, the price corresponding to the initial stay remains fully due to the owner.
Additional services not consumed will be refunded if their cancellation occurs more than 48 hours before the scheduled arrival.
Article 6 - Cancellation by the owner: If the owner cancels the stay before it begins, they must inform the client. The client will be immediately refunded all amounts paid.
Article 7 - Arrival: The client must arrive on the day and at the times stated in this contract. In case of late or delayed arrival, the client must inform the owner.
Article 8 - Payment of the balance: The balance is payable one day before arrival. Any consumptions and additional services not mentioned in this contract are to be settled with the owner at the end of the stay.
Article 9 - Tourist tax: The tourist tax is a local tax that the client must pay to the owner, who then remits it to the public treasury. It is included in the room rate.
Article 10 - Use of the premises: The client must respect the peaceful nature of the premises and use them in accordance with their intended purpose. They undertake to return the rooms in good condition.
Article 11 - Capacity: This contract is established for a specific number of persons. If the number of clients exceeds this number, the owner may refuse the additional clients. Such refusal shall not under any circumstances be considered a modification or termination of the contract at the owner’s initiative; consequently, if a number of clients greater than those refused should leave, no refund can be considered.
Article 12 - Animals: This contract specifies that the client may not stay with a pet. If the client fails to comply with this clause, the owner may refuse the animals. Article 13 - Disputes: Any complaint relating to the condition of the premises must be brought to the owner’s attention, orally or in writing. This in itself does not entail any legal proceedings that may be brought.
Article 14 - Translation: The translation of the website into languages other than French is provided for information purposes only for our international clientele. Due to translation lead times and page updates, only the French version is authoritative.
